A. McArthur Irvin pioneered the approach to a positive workplace that strengthens an employer in resisting the onset of organizing activity.  He has lectured in more than thirty states to assist employers to take action now to eliminate conditions that encourage unionizing attempts and spawn needless litigation.  Throughout his career, Mac has been a first responder for employers across the nation facing union organizing activity.  That same preventive approach assists corporations in creating a climate where employees are not inclined to file lawsuits, but instead, work through company procedures to resolve issues and disputes.

Sandra Kaye Bowen is an experienced attorney who has developed particular expertise in the areas of employment law and litigation.  Sandy provides practical advice to clients regarding rights and obligations under the laws including family and medical leave and disability issues; counseling, discipline, and termination of employees; and the ever-evolving area of non-competes and other restrictive covenants.  Sandy represents clients in negotiations, before agencies, and in court when disputes cannot be avoided.

We are sensitive to our client’s needs for creative and sensible fee arrangements.  We have entered into numerous agreements which allow our clients better to predict and manage legal costs.  These arrangements include fixed retainers, competitive hourly rates, combined hourly and contingent fees, incentive agreements, and flat fees.
